 Jose Rizal: The Face of the Philippines


Jose Rizal is a national symbol of the Philippines because he represents the country’s deep love for freedom, knowledge, and justice. Through his intelligence and powerful writing, Rizal revealed the suffering of Filipinos under Spanish colonization. His novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo awakened the minds of the people and inspired them to seek change through peaceful and non-violent means.


Rizal strongly believed that education is the key to progress and true freedom. He proved that serving and defending one’s country does not always require weapons, but can be done through wisdom, courage, and firm principles. Through his actions and beliefs, Rizal showed great bravery in standing up for what he believed was right.


Rizal’s sacrifice made him a true icon of the Philippines. His death strengthened the Filipinos’ desire for national independence and inspired future heroes to continue the struggle for freedom. Because of his ideas, actions, and unwavering patriotism, Jose Rizal remains the enduring symbol of the Filipino nation.

REFLECTION

 Looking back on the first quarter of the year, I feel a great sense of accomplishment. I’m particularly proud of my self because I'm doing good I also learned a lot about math trigonometric  This quarter wasn't without its challenges. The most difficult thing I faced was computing a questionnaire. From that experience, I learned that it wasn't easy to do that thing. As I move into the second quarter, I want to keep at being good listener and doing good. I also plan to focus on improving my knowledge . My top goal is to be engineering someday.

INTRAMURALS

 Intramurals provide students with a great way to grow, not just in competition but in many other areas. Taking part in these activities helps build social skills, teamwork, and a healthy approach to physical and mental well-being. Intramurals are very important to the school community because they help create well-rounded individuals and a lively school culture. I'm the esports facilitator for this year's intramurals, and I'm excited to include competitive gaming in our school's athletic programs. Esports are organized video game competitions where individuals or teams compete in virtual arenas.
