The theme for the 2025 National Science Month, "Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation," is a powerful call to action. It tells us that our future progress relies on curiosity and the courage to explore things we don't yet understand. To "harness the unknown" means pushing past our current knowledge -whether it's exploring the deepest oceans, the outer edges of the universe, or the complex coding within human DNA. By supporting fundamental, basic research, we create a solid foundation of knowledge that ultimately leads to life-changing inventions and technologies. This curiosity is the starting point for all true innovation, driving solutions to the global problems of tomorrow.


The act of harnessing the unknown is currently being supercharged by revolutionary new tools, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced biotechnology. Al allows scientists to sort through massive amounts of data and discover patterns that humans would miss, accelerating the search for new medicines, materials, and energy sources. Biotechnology gives us the power to engineer new crops that can survive climate change or develop highly effective vaccines almost overnight. These technologies are quickly transforming potential ideas into real-world applications. The unknown future is therefore less about waiting for chance discoveries and more about using smart tools to actively pull new knowledge out of the vast darkness.


In the coming decades, the relationship between science and society will become more important than ever before. It will move away from a simple system where scientists discover things, and society uses them. Instead, it must become a partnership built on trust and shared goals. Science and technology will be called upon to solve humanity's greatest challenges, such as reversing climate damage and ending global food and water shortages. For science to truly succeed, it must listen to the needs of the public. Ultimately, the goal of National Science Month is not just to celebrate brilliant scientists, but to celebrate the spirit of inquiry that lives in all of us. REFLECTION

 Looking back on the first quarter of the year, I feel a great sense of accomplishment. I’m particularly proud of my self because I'm doing good I also learned a lot about math trigonometric  This quarter wasn't without its challenges. The most difficult thing I faced was computing a questionnaire. From that experience, I learned that it wasn't easy to do that thing. As I move into the second quarter, I want to keep at being good listener and doing good. I also plan to focus on improving my knowledge . My top goal is to be engineering someday.

INTRAMURALS

 Intramurals provide students with a great way to grow, not just in competition but in many other areas. Taking part in these activities helps build social skills, teamwork, and a healthy approach to physical and mental well-being. Intramurals are very important to the school community because they help create well-rounded individuals and a lively school culture. I'm the esports facilitator for this year's intramurals, and I'm excited to include competitive gaming in our school's athletic programs. Esports are organized video game competitions where individuals or teams compete in virtual arenas. Games like CODM, and Mobile Legends have become incredibly popular, turning gaming from a hobby into a real competitive activity. Esports also encourages teamwork and collaboration.
